The Kerplunks win CFMA - Children's Album of The Year 2008!!

Hey Fans !!!
We won the Canadian Folk Music Award for best "Children's Album of The Year 2008"!!!!!!!!!!

NFLD was incredible- there was so much to do and see.....

Nominated for another award! This time, the Independent Music Awards!

We've been nominated for ANOTHER AWARD! This is getting a bit silly but we're fine with it!

This time we're nominated for the 2008 Independent Music Award! Entries are received from the United States, Canada, Australia, Belgium, Japan, Guam, Argentina, Cuba, Israel, Spain, Germany, France, the Netherlands, Sweden, Finland, Poland, Italy, Greece, Nigeria, Turkey, Estonia, Russia, Ireland and the UK! Wow!

Stay tuned. We're going to be in St. John's from the 20th to the 25th. When we get home, we'll put more photos on the photo page. Can't wait!

We're going to Newfoundland!!

Hey everyone! We're so excited, we're going to Newfoundland!!!

As you know, we're nominated for a Canadian Folk Music Award for Best Children's Album. This is so exciting! Big congratulations to the other nominees in our category.

All the nominees in our category who are attending the CFMA Gala are going to be on CBC Radio's Weekend Arts Magazine. This airs at 8:30 in the morning on Sunday Novmember 23rd.

Big thanks to everyone in our Community of Gabriola for helping us get all the way to Newfoundland! It's about as far away as you can get from home. Cool, eh? Stay tuned for photos and fun stories from the upcoming awards ceremony.
