WE WON THE WESTERN CANADIAN MUSIC AWARD!!!

Thanks so much everyone for your support and encouragement. Edmonton was such a fun time! We met some great friends and had a blast driving to and from the conference and awards gala.

We're in Edmonton at the Western Canadian Music Awards!

Hellooooo from Edmonton!

We're here hob-nobbing with all sorts of fun musicians from all over Western Canada here and enjoying meeting new friends. The actual awards ceremony doesn't take place until Sunday evening so we still don't know if we've won the Western Canadian Music Award. But we will tomorrow!

We'll be putting some photos on our photo page soon plus some new videos on our YouTube site! We'll let you know.

Canadian Folk Music Award Nomination!

Hey everyone!! Guess what? We've been nominated for another award! Isn't that cool?

The Kerplunks are nominated for a Canadian Folk Music Award for Best Children's Album! Yeppers, we're off to Newfoundland on November the 23rd for the awards gala. We've never been to Newfoundland and hear that St. Johns is the Bee's Knees!

Can't wait to hit Edmonton and see some amazing live music, hang out with other fun musicians, get all gussied up and go schmoozin'! We'll let you know what happens at the Western Canadian Music Awards. We're up against some pretty great children's performers, it's quite an honour.

The Kerplunks are also nominated for a Western Canadian Music Award-in Most Outstanding album(2008). We will be going to the awards ceremonies in Edmonton in a few weeks! Very Exciting! Wish us luck, for sure
