We're going to Edmonton for the Western Canadian Music Awards!

News flash! The Kerplunks fancy new website is almost finished!!! It looks fantastic and we're really enjoying working with Anthony Clark.

Well, Dinah and Tina of The Kerplunks are off to Edmonton in a few weeks to attend the Gala Awards Ceremony for the Western Canadian Music Awards!! It's really exciting and we're pumped. There are some incredible musicians nominated for all sorts of awards, check them out at www.westerncanadianmusicawards.ca. We'll be hangin' and hobnobbin' with all sorts of people in the music industry and seeing some live shows! Being a professional musician is super-duper fun-on-the-run!

Our First Blog!!

Hey everyone!

Tina here! We're doing all sorts of fun stuff lately and thought we'd set up this funky blog thingy to let you know what's happening!

Summer time was so busy for The Kerplunks. We traveled all over this beautiful province of BC playing in some really cool places. In June, we drove all the way to Smithers BC and played at the Midsummer Music Festival. Then we came back to Southern BC and played at some wonderful outdoor events, music festivals and parties. Check out our photo site to see some more pictures! We met all sorts of great people and had a great time.

School is in again! That means The Kerplunks will be touring some schools in BC in the coming months. We will for sure be coming to Brechin Elementary School in Nanaimo at 9:00am on November 17th. Then the same day we'll be heading up to Courtenay to play at Puntledge Park Elementary School at 1:30. Watch out for a Rocky Mountain Tour in March. We love to travel!

Some exciting news! The Kerplunks are nominated for a Western Canadian Music Award for Outstanding Children's Recording! Yay! This means that we get to go all the way to Edmonton for the Gala Awards Ceremony and hopefully play some shows as well. Stay tuned!

More news! The Kerplunks are having a new website built right now! We'll let you know when it's done. We can't wait!
